Welcome to Vaidhika Dharma – A Community to Learn, Preserve and Share Vedic Knowledge

  1. Team · edited

A warm welcome to everyone joining the Vaidhika Dharma Community Forum!

We are delighted to bring together people who share an interest in learning, understanding, practising and preserving our ancient Vedic traditions and Sanatana Dharma.

Our Vedas, Upanishads, Vedanta, Dharma Shastras, Itihasas, Puranas and the teachings of our great Acharyas are an invaluable treasure passed down to us through generations. Preserving this knowledge and making it accessible to future generations is a shared responsibility.

Vaidhika Dharma is an initiative to bring together learners, practitioners, scholars and spiritual seekers to share knowledge and learn from one another.

    Our Objectives

Through this community, we aim to:

    1. Preserve Vedic Knowledge: Encourage the correct learning, chanting, pronunciation and understanding of Vedic texts, including their svaras.
    2. Promote Vedic Practice: Share knowledge about Sandhyāvandana, daily anuṣṭhāna, traditional Pujas, Vrathams and religious observances.
    3. Learn from Great Acharyas: Explore the lives, teachings and contributions of great Acharyas, Rishis and Gurus who have preserved and propagated Vaidika Dharma.
    4. Understand Our Scriptures: Encourage discussions on Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Brahma Sutras and other traditional scriptures.
    5. Share Authentic Knowledge: Provide a platform to ask questions, exchange references, clarify doubts and learn through meaningful discussions.
    6. Pass Knowledge to Future Generations: Encourage younger generations to understand and appreciate our traditional knowledge and values.

    How Can You Participate?

Everyone is welcome to contribute according to their knowledge and interests.

    • Ask questions about Vedic texts, svaras and pronunciation.
    • Share corrections and references from authentic sources.
    • Discuss daily religious practices and traditional rituals.
    • Share the teachings and compositions of great Acharyas.
    • Explain the significance of festivals and religious observances.
    • Share useful learning resources and traditional knowledge.
    • Help fellow members with their questions and doubts.

You do not need to be a scholar to participate. Even a sincere question can lead to a valuable discussion and learning opportunity.

    Our Community Guidelines

To maintain a meaningful and respectful learning environment, we request all members to follow these simple guidelines:

    1. Respect all members, traditions, Sampradayas and viewpoints.
    2. Share authentic information and provide scriptural references wherever possible.
    3. Avoid personal criticism, arguments and unnecessary controversies.
    4. When sharing interpretations or opinions, distinguish them from established scriptural references and traditional teachings.
    5. Avoid spreading unverified information.
    6. Keep discussions relevant to the purpose of Vaidhika Dharma.
    7. Encourage constructive discussions and help others learn.

Our objective is not to argue about whose tradition is superior, but to learn, understand and preserve our valuable traditional knowledge.

Let Us Build This Community Together

A community becomes meaningful not simply through the number of members, but through the quality of knowledge shared and the willingness of its members to learn and contribute.

Let us make Vaidhika Dharma a useful knowledge-sharing platform where traditional wisdom is respected, genuine questions are encouraged and valuable knowledge is preserved for future generations.

We invite every member to introduce themselves and share what interests them most about Vedic knowledge and Sanatana Dharma.

Your participation, knowledge and contributions will help this community grow.

May the blessings of our Gurus and Acharyas guide us in this humble endeavour.

    धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः
    Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah

Dharma protects those who protect it.

    With respectful regards,
